Yes, there are people who have the ability to help you see your other lives, but that is only because you give them the power.  You have the power to explore any of your “past” lives yourself, and all lives are occurring simultaneously, in the Now. But based on how you feel about your own power, you may give a regression experience more validity with the help of a “trained professional.”

Yes, you do.

Prior to your current incarnation, you settled on a particular theme for your next life. You then chose fellow souls to be the major actors in your next incarnation, including your own parents.  Soul plans are always a collaborative relationship; the other souls also have their own themes to explore, for which you are doing them a service in kind through your interaction with them. Your chosen parents would provide you with the early growth experiences and scenarios that set the stage during your early years.

Our Universe’s natural state is one of balance.  You might also hear the word “karma” thrown around here and there.

Karma is another word for self-imposed balance. In order to maintain balance as our souls progress back to Source, we may choose lives with opposing themes in order to balance out the growth experience.

For instance, one could choose an incarnation in which he distorted the concept of “oneness” by playing the part of the perpetrator, narcissist, or physically oppressive individual. Then, in another life, he could choose to explore a theme in which he experiences being the “victim,” or the recipient of actions from negatively focused individuals.

Living lives on both sides of the dualistic spectrum allows a soul to experience the feelings, emotions, pain and joy associated with viewing life from very opposing paradigms.
