Are you feeling bored, burnt-out, or incompatible with life in human form?
When you’re focusing on the uttermost excitements your Earth life has to offer, the delights of your favorite thing is only a timeline switch away.
Fully embracing being human:
You can do it without alienating your galactic heritage. This dialectical balancing act is one of the classic story elements in every starseed awakening. Honoring all versions of you, and reconnecting with your favorite things will remind you of why you chose to be here — and why it’s fun to be here.
Work and play are not opposites, as you may have once believed.
Changing your definitions of “work” and “play” is the easiest way to connect with your inner child and integrate your lightwork into day-to-day life on Earth — however you want that to look like.
The happiest people of Earth are the ones whose work and play are indistinguishable.
These people love it here and they keep coming back.
Stepping into your role as a Gamemaker:
One of my favorite ways to challenge the rigidity of my own definitions of these terms is by adopting The Game Theory. Gamemakers are conscious creators who love to participate in life’s work and play deliberately, and in doing so — have lots of fun. Some of life’s most mundane “chores” and “responsibilities” are transformed into minigames and missions via limitless, high-vibrational thinking.
If you’ve ever played a role-playing video game you might be familiar with Superbosses — these are characters who challenge you while you’re on your main mission, and it’s optional to accept their challenges. Lightworkers are no strangers to these kinds of showdowns in real life. On the path of ascension you are likely to notice them in “extra” quests. These Superbosses present opportunities to fine tune your polarity.
Because you are creating your own reality, your human self can improvise… What will you do when a Superboss appears? They are of many forms.
That’s a lot of innerwork… Are you allowing yourself to do all of the things you love doing most?
Are you forgetting that life is a fun journey of self-discovery? Fun is not optional in the process of aligning with your highest self. Your ways to play don’t have to be popular nor exclusively spiritual, Gamemaker.
A day of riding a motorcycle may bring in the same joy as a shamanic retreat in Sedona. Are you ignoring the human aspect of your life?
Your ways to work don’t have to be undignifying nor uninteresting.
Work can be work. Work can be play. Play can be play. Play can be work. Only your definitions of these ideas can change how they impact your life, because they are ideas. Both could be your favorite thing.
Throughout awakening, change becomes our normal.
Keep this in mind when making plans and promises that may not allow enough room for flexibility. We often change our minds; and as we ascend — our new vibrational frequencies may resonate with new ways to work and play.
Some of our favorite things don’t change.
Sometimes we surprise ourselves by how much joy we can still receive from both the subtleties of life, and from the wildly unique experiences we can play out as consciousness focuses on Earth living. Our inner child knows how to get us fired up about anything from Mount Shasta to peanut butter and jelly in the same jar.
What is your favorite thing about life on Earth?
Think of what assists you in grounding, maintaining high frequency, and integrating your soul’s wisdom into the collective Earth game.
My favorite things on Earth include playing Dance Dance Revolution, talking to “strangers,” and roller skating. I can do all of these in the same neighborhood. I also love Qigong, Mexican food, sunflowers, and sleeper cars. The list goes on.
My favorite things come from a myriad of focal points — blending consciousness, sometimes with seemingly little continuity; but somehow, they all engage my spirit in play.
Allow yourself to play and you will enjoy everything you create.
Thank you for being here.
