Hearing Crickets Inside Your Head? Lucky You.

For a chirping good time

Humanity is re-activating the sixth sense: Intuition.

Source communicates with you through many channels.  The five you’ve been using all this time are your current go-to senses, because historically we’ve been told that they are the only reliable ones (despite 7 in 10 people needing glasses.)  Information that arrives from elsewhere—those other feelings that we all have, and want to believe in—has habitually been discredited as sketchy and unreliable.  So what does intuition have to do with crickets?

We’ve all felt such signals.  A few examples:

  • Something brushing across the skin
  • Sudden changes in temperature
  • Voices in your head
  • Sensing someone else in the room

Experiencing a sensation in our bodies is no new thing. But correlating them with a message; now that’s where the link got broken when we incarnated into human form.

This was intentional!  You wanted to encounter such activations as part of the ascension process; to revel in the unveiling of new “impossibilities” as doubts fall away.

New channels of communication reveal themselves by piggybacking on one of your five main senses.

For instance, your eyes are the mechanism that registers that blue light you keep seeing in your peripheral view.

You use your nose to smell your grandfather’s cigar on a Sunday afternoon, even though he’s been gone for a decade.

But the ears…
Now there is true love.

The ears are the mechanism we’ve been using to register sound

Sound will do more to propel your awakening process than any other method of energy communication.  Why?  Because all of creation is made from it.  It’s the language of the Universe.

You are a sentient being, singing yourself through life.
Literally and figuratively, you are a song.

Sound needn’t come in through the ears; that’s just an idea we believed while we were growing.

Changes in what you hear, how you hear, and which part of your ear hears it…are all first indications of a reactivated ability to detect subtle frequencies coming in.  Delicate tuning forks are hiding in the ear canal, waiting to be stimulated; and you betcha that Source is going to utilize them in hopes that you pay attention.

It might start with an uncontrollable itching, deep inside your ear.

Totally maddening, since you can’t reach it from the outside, and there is nothing physical that you can do to make it stop.

This is a great sign!  The awareness that there is even a PLACE inside your head that can send you into a frenzy of mysterious itching, is like the blossoming of a new flower in your consciousness. (Find out the symbolism of itchy ears  here.)

So now that you’ve acknowledged a new channel, Source will ramp up the use of it.

Enter the crickets.

In the same area of that maddening itch….you may hear….chirps.

Most people describe these chirps as the sound of cricket song, but a few people have described the sound as if someone is shaking a bag of coins.  Either way, you’re receiving embedded information through these sounds.

For me?  The chirps are “confirmation.”

Thought, thought, thought, conclusion. Chirp.

In other words, “You’re on the right path.  Keep going.”

If you’re hearing such chirps, take note of the thoughts that led up to the sound, and remember that nothing  in life is random.  Even occurrences with a physical explanation are still not random.  It takes some repetition for human mind to connect the dots sometimes, so be patient with yourself.  Gentle observation rather than creative desperation is the way to go here.

Here is a springboard message for you:   “Benevolence.”

Crickets have a long and beloved history as symbols of good luck.   Their songs are celebrated worldwide and they are portents of happiness and good fortune.

They accompany humans along on major milestones, in many rituals and in many cultures, around the globe.  If you’re a poet, they are known to arouse poetic inspiration.  Live crickets are still sold in some stationery shops in China.

The cricket as a representation of benevolence is inherent in humanity’s “bank” of symbols.  These archetypes are available for activation when we search for deeper truth about something.  Every symbol can incorporate multiple meanings, depending on which level you view it from.  Black cats, for instance, are beloved comrades for the witch crew, and yet are omens of death for those with survival fears.  It’s always up to you to give things meaning according to your current world view.

By considering your messages as positive feedback , you’ll loosen the reins a bit, and trust yourself more.  Perhaps you’ll even make some daring decisions based on the belief that you’re living in a benevolent world.

So if you are hearing those mysterious chirps, celebrate your accomplishments!  You’re on the right path, and it’s a good one.
